Unauthorised occupants of Government houses are being served 15-day notices to evacuate them or else strict action will be taken.
Director of Estates, Ajay Sharma informed that letter will be written to concerning departments to ensure action against the officers and employees occupying Government houses unauthorisedly.
Departments will be asked to deduct lump sum amount of penal rent against unauthorised occupants of Government houses from their salaries and deposit the same in Government treasury.
Director Estates said that such people should evacuate Government houses within 15 days. Otherwise, they will face both eviction as well as strict action.
