A review meeting for the preparations of Simhastha 2028 was conducted on Tuesday morning at the Simhastha Mela Office auditorium, chaired by Collector Roshan Kumar Singh. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing projects and ensuring the successful implementation of various construction works related to the event.

During the meeting, an advanced digital solution was introduced to streamline the monitoring of construction projects. The software, developed by the PMIS agency E&Y, aims to ensure transparency, timeliness, and quality in the ongoing and upcoming works. The digital platform will display real-time updates on the status of all departmental projects related to Simhastha, making it easier for officials at both the state and district levels to track the progress.

The new software will include a real-time project dashboard that provides live status updates, progress reports, expenditure details, and predictive analysis for potential delays. This will enable authorities to quickly identify and address any issues, ensuring that the projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to high-quality standards.

The digital solution is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the construction works, providing timely updates, and improving accountability. It will also help reduce the chances of delays by predicting potential bottlenecks and facilitating proactive intervention.

In addition to the digital solution, officials discussed various aspects of the preparations for Simhastha 2028, including infrastructure development, sanitation, security arrangements, and the overall management of the event. The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between different departments and agencies to ensure that the event is a success.

The meeting was attended by several key officials, including Ujjain Municipal Commissioner Ashish Pathak, Ujjain Development Authority CEO Sandeep Soni, and other department heads associated with the planning and execution of the Simhastha Mela.

The implementation of the digital system is seen as a significant step in the modernization of the event's management process, ensuring better coordination and more efficient use of resources as Ujjain prepares for the grand event in 2028.
