In a breakthrough, the police have arrested two youths in connection with murder of a woman in the city few days back. Both the accused when interrogated by the police, confessed to their crimes. Police said both the accused before killing the woman had got her drunk heavily.
Thereafter, the duo molested the deceased and inserted a pipe in her private parts before killing her.The body of a woman identified as Chamelibai alias Gayatri (42) had been found from an abandoned house in Sheetal Nagar behind BCM Height.0
Police had arrested few persons in this regard and interrogated them but were unable to arrest the accused. DIG Rakesh Gupta who had been investigating the case himself, later constituted a team comprising CSP KK Sharma, TI Shailendra Shrivastav and CB Singh. Following a probe into the matter, the police team arrested the two persons namely Gajia and lakku from Khajrana.
Police said the accused had consumed liquor along with the victim. Chameli Bai fell at Bombay hospital square. The accused later took her to an isolated house behind the BCM Height building where the duo molested her physically.
When the victim raised an alarm, both the accused strangulated her to death. The murder case, according to the police, was solved with the help of an eye-witness. Police jawans Shailendra Pawar, Shailendra Meena, Narendra Singh and Vikas Baghel played crucial role in unwinding the murder case and they will be suitably rewarded by the department.
