The MP Nagar police have nabbed two women involved in flesh trade near Chinar Park area late in the night on Sunday.
According to the police, acting on a tip off the MP Nagar police nabbed two women involved in flesh trade. Police said that a police team was rushed to Chinar Park area where two women were waiting for someone.
The two were nabbed and when they were questioned they failed to provide the details regarding their presence in the area. They later confessed that they are involved in flesh trade.
The two used to contact customers over phone who were interested in saving sex in return of money. The two were supported by a nexus which would be unearthed in the investigation.
The action was taken after receiving several complaints from the locals. In the past few complaints were made by the residents and locals but after receiving concrete information, the action was taken. The mobile phone recovered from the accused women would be investigated.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act has been registered against the two and started further investigation.
The details of the nexus would be investigated in the further investigation. During the investigation police found that the two were involved in the flesh trade for long.
Their details of the two have been searched.
