Continuing its drive against anti-social elements, the Crime Branch of the Bhopal police on Thursday successfully arrested two miscreants and recovered 13 mobile phones worth `50,000 from their possession. Acting on a tip-off, the two youths were rounded up from the Gandhi Nagar area by the sleuths of the Crime branch while they were allegedly trying to sell expensive mobile phones.  The two accused have been identified as Saber Ali (18) and Subhash Marathe (20) of the Gandhi Nagar. Earlier, they had reportedly misled the police stating that they bought the mobile phones from Ghora Nakkas areas and were selling them again at a little higher price at `100 to `200.

However, when they were asked to produce the required documents, they couldn’t do so and finally confessed their crimes. They also disclosed one of their partners in the gang, who was identified as Bhura alias Javed.  The accused confessed burglary at Gandhi Nagar on December 13, 2014 in which they escaped with 13 mobile phones and `2,000 cash. Police have started searching for the third accused who is still absconding.
