On the pretext of selling a house a woman and her son duped more than three persons to the tune of lakhs of rupees in the city. The property sold out to all the persons is situated at Hathikhana under Talaiya police station area.
The incident came to light after Asif Khan of Aishbagh published a notice regarding the sale of the house in a newspaper. The offenders have been identified as Shireen Khan and her son Adnan Khan. Asif was duped to the tune of Rs 25 lakh. Earlier in the month of December 2012, the victim bought a house owned by the accused Shireen Majid and Adnan Majid and the deal was done at Rs 35 lakh.
The victim paid Rs 25 lakh in advance and was going to pay the remaining soon .
