Department of Medicine and Microbiology at AIIMS Bhopal, with the collaboration of the ICMR and the MP government, organised a 2 days' workshop successfully on 30th and 31st January 2023.
The workshop was specifically designed for microbiologists of the state, to strengthen the microbiology laboratory services in secondary care hospitals. The event was chaired by Director and CEO, Prof (Dr.) Ajai Singh. On this occasion, Prof. Singh reiterated the commitment of AIIMS Bhopal for its training and teaching activities for development of trained human resources in the state.
20 microbiologists across Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh were trained the delegates about the complicated bacterial and fungal tests which are till now available only at AIIMS Bhopal.
This training will help in strengthening the microbiological laboratories across the state and ultimately help the population of the state. Dr. Sumit Rai from AIIMS Mangalgiri and Dr. Akshata from AIIMS Jodhpur were the resource persons in the event.
