The police have charged two youths for abducting and murdering a 13-year-old girl after sexually assaulting her on January 31.
The miscreants were arrested by Misrod police in Bhopal district in another incident for creaking ruckus. They were held under section 155 on February 2. When the parents of the victim raised suspicion on these youths for abducting the girl, the Rehati Police, which is investigating the case related to the recovery of the unidentified body in Rehati jungle, have taken these miscreants on remand.
The victim had gone missing mysteriously at 6 pm on January 31 from her liberty Colony residence under Misrod police station area. She had left home saying that she was going to the house of Swati Vishwakarma living in the neighbourhood. The family members searched for the girl the whole night and later, lodged a complaint with the police on the next day.
later, on February 10, the police came to know that the girl was found murdered in partial naked condition in the jungles of Rehati. The body was recovered on February 2 and after three days when the deceased was not identified, they buried the body.
Victim’s mother, who works in a diamond company in Misrod had come to know from her colleague, who hails from Rehati, that body of a girl was recovered from Rehati jungle and she might be her daughter’s.
On this, she approached Misrod police, but the police officials did not take any interest.
On February 5, there was a marriage at the house of landlord of girl’s parents and these two miscreants Ranveer Vishwas and Prakhar Solanki were caught creating ruckus. They were arrested by the Misrod police, but it did not interrogate them properly regarding the missing girl’s case.
