Aishbagh police have booked two persons who raped a 32-year-old Gwalior based woman, filmed the act and blackmailed using the video; victim was raped by her husband and his friend at a hotel near Prabhat petrol pump.
Police have registered a case against the two accused identified as Giriraj Bansal and Rupendra for sexually assaulting and blackmailing the victim.
According to SHO Umesh Yadav, victim was accompanied to Bhopal and was raped by her husband Rupendra and Giriraj at Silver Inn hotel and later they blackmailed her to make video of rape public.
The victim who hails from Gwalior and got married with Rupendra Bansal of Sheopur in June 2018 last year. The other Giriraj Bansal of Gwalior who is friend of Rupendra played role of mediator and helped them in meeting and later the two married. After the marriage relationship turned sour and the couple separated within 3-4 months of marriage.
The victim returned to Gwalior at her parents but the accused have some different plans and Giriraj went to met father of woman and assured him that he would sort out dispute between them and on August 18, 2018, he accompanied victim to Bhopal in a train and took her to Hotel Silver Inn where Rupendra met the victim and sexually assaulted his wife while Giriraj captured the video of the act and when Rupendra went out of the hotel, Giriraj raped her and Rupendra made video.
The shocked victim returned to Gwalior and after remaining mum for few days she reported the incident to her parents and then lodged complaint with police where a zero FIR was registered and case was transferred to Aishbagh police for further investigation.
