The residents of Khokaria village situated about 35 km from here are reeling under fear and pressure as the Army Intelligence, State Intelligence and the police are investigating regarding two persons who were recently arrested from Firozpur in Punjab.
Shivnarayan and Arjun Singh were arrested after their links with woman ISI agent Jaya Mishra were found.
The two were arrested from Firozpur, Punjab, after their interaction with Jaya Mishra through Facebook and WhatsApp accounts.
Shivnarayan’s son claimed that his father was innocent and went missing around 10-12 days ago after which police have searched their house and have taken computer, mobile details and documents with them. He was not aware that his father had been arrested under the most serious charges.
His wife Bhuri Bai has claimed that Shivnarayan had left their house on October 31 and later called to inform that there was requirement of money and after getting the money he would return. Before this he had sold his motorbike for Rs12,000 and the money was deposited in his account and around two days ago another Rs3,000 was deposited in his account.
The locals have said that a few days ago a white coloured car arrived in the locality and he went with the people in the car and never returned.
later news of their arrest was received by the residents of the village and family. The villagers have expressed ignorance about the involvement of the accused in any activities of terrorism.
Intelligence agencies are putting all efforts to nab two of the accomplices of Shivnarayan. The villagers are finding it hard to accept that a resident of their village has been charged with treason.
