Sony SAB celebrated for impactful storytelling and showcasing relatable content continues to create a mark with its latest show, 'Aangan - Aapno Kaa'. The show centers around the deep affection and sense of duty a daughter feels for her father and questions the norm of girls leaving their family post-marriage. The show features noted actor Mahesh Thakur who plays the character of Jaidev - a single father who has raised his three daughters Ayushi Khurana as Pallavi, Neetha Shetty as Deepika and Aditi Rathore as Tanvi single handedly. The youngest of the three siblings Pallavi has a different perspective on marriage and believes that her father doesn’t have to stop being her priority just because she will have a new family after marriage. Pallavi’s views encapsulate the dilemma faced by women, torn between caring for their parents while embarking on a new life with a new family.
