Two matches were played on Thursday in the ongoing T-20 Inter-College Cricket Tournament.In the first match Truba College defeated All Saints College of Technology (ASCT) by 52 runs while in the second match Bansal College defeated lNCT by 26 runs.
Truba College batting first scored of 176 runs. Rajkumar was the top scorer, scoring 57 runs. ASCT team batting second could score only 124 runs against some tight bowling and excellent field placement by the opposition side.
Apart from Rahul with 60 runs and Vishnu with 23 runs other team members were not able to reach double figures. Rajkumar with 3 wickets, Sanyal and Rahul with 2 wickets each were the main wicket takers from Truba side.
Rajkumar of Truba was declared Man of the Match for his excellent performance both with bat and ball.In the second match played between Bansal College and lNCT, Bansal playing first scored 154 runs Aditya was the main scorer with 68 runs while Akash scored 28 runs.
Rahil of lNCT took 3 wickets lNCT playing second managed only 129 runs against very disciplined bowling by Bansal team. Akhilesh of lNCT was the main scorer with 47 runs and Anshul scored 27 runs.
Jaswinder of Bansal was main wicket taker with 4 wickets. He was declared Main of the match.State Co- Convener BJP Sports Cell Sports and Promoter Mohammed Tarique was the Chief Guest.
He handed over the trophies to the player of the match Rajkumar of Truba and Jaswinder of Bansal. On this occasion Professor AH Saify Principal and GK Bammi Head Training and Placement were especially present.
