A city based trader was duped to the tune of Rs 15 lakh by a Gujarat based company; a case of fraud has been registered with the MP Nagar police.
According to the police owner of Paper Trade link Company Vinod Bhargava lodged a complaint with the MP Nagar police few days ago regarding non-payment of Rs 15 lakh by a Gujarat based company owned by Mukesh Patel.
In the complaint the victim has claimed that his firm deals in providing paper of different varieties. Around two-three years ago manager of Gujarat based company Kanhaiyalal Dholakia contacted his company and ordered for paper which was to be delivered in Gujarat. At the initial stages the company used to make the payment on time and gaining trust the company demanded goods on credit and as the company has made the earlier payment on time Bhargava agreed to provide goods on credit.
After Bhargava’s firm provided goods on credit, the company started deferring payments. In the year 2013 the Gujarat based company bought goods worth Rs 15 lakh in parts and none of the payment of the goods was given. When Bhargava demanded the money, the company officials delayed the payment and resorted to excuses.
Failing to recover the amount Bhargava lodged a complaint with the MP Nagar police against the owner of the company Docuprint Solution Pvt ltd Mukesh Patel and manager Kanhaiyalal Dholakia. After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
