Videocon Mobile Services would install 1550 towers in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh telecom circle in next 15 days and it would roll out 4G cellular services from next month.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of Videocon Mobile Services Arvind Bali said, "The brand seeks to address the emergent voice and data needs of the mobile consumers by embarking upon an aggressive expansion plan to reach every mobile customer across the dynamic telecom circle of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh." "4G services is the next level of mobile communications, Videocon Mobile Services has embarked upon a steady roadmap towards 4G lTE (long term Evolution) FDD (Frequency Divison Duplesing) rollout and has commenced network planning," he added.

Videocon mobile services bought liberalized license on January 18 for six telecom circles of the country. "The six telecom circles form the Hindi-belt. Along with the Punjab circle which we already had, these circles cover 46 per cent of the country's population. Teledensity in this area is less and therefore, there is a great scope for expansion," Bali noted.
