Increase in interest and inclination of tourists towards Madhya Pradesh has been noticed as a good result of encouragement of tourism in the State. Attention is being paid on facilities and security of the tourists.
Moreover, increase in numbers of tourists has been registered visiting state. New tourism Policy of the State is favourable and generous for the investors. It is informed on the occasion of the inaugural function of third phase of the M.P. Travel Mart organized by the State tourism development corporation here today. Representatives of National and International tourism and tourists organizations are participating in this prestigious programme.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh inaugurated and inspected the exhibition being put up on the occasion. Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Surendra Patwa and Chairman of State Tourism Development Corporation Tapan Bhoumik were present on the occasion. Secretary Tourism and Managing Director of State Tourism Development Corporation Hariranjan Rao apprised guests about the exhibition and organizations taking part in the Travel Mart.
Exhibition and live-Demo are becoming center of attraction in the Travel Mart. Attractive stalls have been put up and publicity material is being provided by MP Tourism Development Corporation, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Goa beside tourism corporations of other states Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation, Jal- Mahotsav Hanuvantiya, Indo-Asia Tour, India Tourism Indore, Radisson Residency, Jehanuma Group Hotel, Club Mahindra, Ran Utsav Kachch, Jungle of India, India Tourism Mumbai, Taj Safari, Ashok Hotel Group beside other hotels, prestigious companies, organizations and associations related to hospitality, travel and tour have put up attractive stalls in the Travel Mart.
Enchanting Pavilion of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation has been exhibited. A popular TVC of MP Tourism Development Corporation ‘MP Mein Dil Ho Bachche Sa’ was also displayed. Beside this World Heritage Khajuraho, Bheem Bethka, Kanha, Panna, Pench National Park, Bandavgarh, Padhavali and Purwa Falls etc. are displayed attractively. Furthermore, photographs of main tourist places of Madhya Pradesh and heritage of historical importance were displayed in the Travel Mart.
