Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Narendra Singh Tomar alleged on Sunday that the Congress had never any concern for the villages and farmers and that was the reason why the country could not climb up on the development stairs.

Tomar was addressing the BJP convention of Vijaypur and Sheopur Assembly constituency workers. Tomar said, “The spirit of nationalism was nurtured by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and after Independence, he sacrificed his life for the integrity of nation. Pandit Deendayal seeing the plight of villages, poor and farmers, gave the message of integral humanism, the BJP after assuming power worked to realise his dreams.”

Tomar further said the prosperity brought up in the State under Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan led BJP Government was due to following of integral humanism; in this no section of the society has been deprived of taking benefits from the State Government run schemes. Round the clock electricity in the State, water for all farms, relief to the needy and employment to the youth are all due to following of integral humanism, he added.

He called on the party workers to pull socks for the ensuing assembly elections to bring back BJP led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government for the record third time to power in the State. Unique scheme has been launched where the State Government bought wheat at Rs 1500 per quintal from the farmers and distributes it to the poor at Rs 1 per kg under the Chief Minister Annapurna Scheme and in the process providing support to both, the farmers and the poor, he added.

The BJP leader said while the BJP Government was supporting poor and farmers and Congress party after assuming power at the Centre has made record of corruption and scams and by providing inflation bites to the poor make their lives hell.
