The representatives claim that they will remove the shortcomings of the last time so that the rating can be improved.
The central team may come to Bhopal for the Swachh Survekshan in May and that is why the Municipal Corporation has also started preparations. However, there are many challenges before the corporation.
The biggest challenge is that the garbage is not picked up from 10 to 15 percent of the houses. On Tuesday itself, there was a complaint about non-arrival of the garbage van in Anand Vihar Colony of ward number-26. After this, the staff of the corporation came on active mode. The condition of many colonies is the same where garbage vehicles do not reach regularly, or the timing is wrong. Due to this people have problems. Corporation officers and public representatives are talking about focusing on this as well.
Cleaning is done in Bhopal in the morning and afternoon. At the same time, there is a cleaning system in major markets even at night, but many times the employees remain missing. The responsibility of cleaning is 8000 employees.
Now the mayor, president, zone president and counselors will come to the ground to see the cleaning system being done in the morning and afternoon. Mayor Malti Rai has also requested everyone to inspect the cleanliness system and remove the shortcomings.
In Swachh Survekshan-2023, now the corporation is also seeking suggestions regarding cleanliness and others. At the same time, discussion on tea with the representatives of the society, rally of students for cleanliness awareness, street plays will also be done.
