Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s challenge that let Congress seek votes on the name of late PM Rajiv Gandhi, Patidar Congress leader Hardik Patel asked the Prime Minister to contest poll on the promise of two crore jobs.

While talking to media persons at PCC, Patel criticised Modi’s remarks on late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi over corruption. Pointing out that it has been our tradition not to talk bad about those dead, Patel claimed he thought the PM had mistakenly used adverse words for late Rajiv Gandhi but he kept repeating it in subsequent public meetings.

He further claimed that the PM Modi was not talking about his tenure and when a man has nothing to say, he resorts to bad words and propaganda, claimed the young leader from Gujarat.

Saying that the late PM Rajiv Gandhi who had empowered the country with communication revolution of the 21st century, is being shown in poor light by the Prime Minister which was saddening, said Patel on Modi’s attack on the late Prime Minister.

On being asked that PM Modi has thrown a challenge at Congress to contest remaining phases of polls on late PM Rajiv Gandhi’s name, Patel angrily replied that let PM Modi contest polls on promised two crore jobs.

Mounting the assault on PM Modi further, the Patidar leader alleged that Madhya Pradesh was offering water to Gujarat which was instead of being supplied to farmers was being offered to big industries which was evident enough to prove that the Prime Minister was cheating farmers of the country.
