Kashmir is the internal issue of India and if there is any issue between the two countries India and Pakistan, that is of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) that Pakistan has forcibly occupied and now the time has come for Pakistan to vacate it, said Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar here on Saturday while speaking at a symposium over ‘Kashmir - yesterday and today.’
Akbar said, “The concern of India is violation of Humanity in Pakistan-occupied India (Kashmir) that India has made clear to the world community besides clearing to the world community that J& K is the internal issue of India. And if there is any issue between the two countries India and Pakistan that is of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Pakistan is in the dock and it has to vacate the forcible occupation of PoK.”
Akbar further said that the role of India in world has always remained important while Pakistan has proved to be a failed nation and democracy has become a mask there. This is a fact that the failures gave birth to distortions. Pakistan by making opposition of India and terrorism part of its foreign policy presented before its people has definitely harmed India but Pakistan too has paid the price of that, he added.
He said that in the past also India has geopolitical importance on the world scenario that remains intact in the twenty-first century also.
The diplomacy exhibited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made the world known the real position of Jammu and Kashmir. The world has come to know that human rights are not the problem of Jammu and Kashmir but it is the problem of that terrain of the Jammu and Kashmir that Pakistan has forcibly occupied, he added.
The junior Minister of Modi said that Pakistan is patronising terrorism that is affecting many countries of the world and it has become a challenge for the world community to tackle terrorism.
