September 22 happens to be the day when Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi left for his heavenly abode in 2011, yet his rich and royal legacy lives on. One of India's greatest cricket captains, Nawab Saheb was a philanthropist and his humanitarian efforts are praiseworthy. His commendable work as the Mutawalli of Auqaf-e-Shahi has left its mark for generations to cherish and admire.
His legacy has been ably carried further by his daughter Saba Sultan, the current Mutawalli of Auqaf-e-Shahi. In the memory of her late father Saba Sultan personally instructed the staff of Auqaf-e-Shahi to distribute food packets to the needy and to carry out Quran Khwaani. The staff fondly remembered their wonderful Nawab Saheb on this solemn occasion and vowed to continue working towards his dreams for a better Bhopal and its people.
