In a gruesome incident, a three-year-old play school girl was raped on Wednesday when she went to participate in Janmashtami programme in her school.
The toddler of play group at Ramshri Kids School in Harishankarpuram area after returning from the school on Wednesday where she went to participate in Janmashtami programme complianed of pain in her private parts to her parents. The parents took her to the doctor where the incident was revealed.
The school management though declined to accept the fact by stating that there is no male staff while the police also tried to avoid the issue but when the family members of the victim sat on dharna in the school only their complaint was listened to and the police lodged a complaint under IPC 376.
Though the problems of the victim and her family members did not come to an end as when they reached for medical at Kamla Raja Hospital at 10 pm they found doctors drunk.
According to the family members of the victim the hospital staff told them that the doctors are busy in party so wait, when someone would come then only ultrasound would be done.
The family members of the victim said that when they told the hospital superintendent Dr JS Sikarwar that the girl child is becoming
unconscious and sought his help the doctor replied that “such rapes take place daily, if there are no doctors then what could I doIJ Should I give birth to doctorsIJ”
The family after getting distraught for three hours returned at 1.30 a.m. without getting the ultrasound done.
The hospital management on the other hand said that the medical of the victim has been done and her family was told to admit her in children
department but they did not agree to that and took her away.
Gwalior Superintendent of Police (SP) Harinarayan Chari Mishra while talking to The Pioneer said, “A case under IPC 376 has been registered and five persons have been detained and interrogation with them is on.”
