Habibganj police have nabbed three women planning burglary and recovered hacksaw and screw driver from Ekant Park at Shyam Nagar late in the night on Thursday.
Police said that three women were found hiding at Ekant Park and when they were questioned, they failed to provide satisfactory answer. The three were taken to the police station and were quizzed after which they confessed planning burglary in the nearby area.
The nabbed women accused were identified as Neha Choudhary (30) of Narsinghgarh, Seema Malviya (35)of Katara Hills shanties and Phoolbai (45) of Kolar area.
The accused were nabbed by police patrolling team at around 10.30 pm from Ekant Park in Shyam Nagar. The three were hiding and would commit crime late in the night and were carrying tools for committing burglary and stealing valuables.
The three were questioned and they confessed that they were planning burglary in the area but were nabbed before they could commit burglary.
Details of three accused would be investigated. The past crime record of the three would be searched in the further investigation which could help in revealing the nexus of women miscreants involved in theft and burglaries in the city and nearby areas.
Police suspects that the three have been active in crimes in other cities also and would be investigated in the same concern.
The police have registered a case under section 401 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The three used to roam during the day and used to identify the targets.
