Teelajamalpura police has nabbed three vehicle-lifters and recovered three two-wheelers worth Rs 75,000 from their possession on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team traced the miscreants and detained the three men with bikes who failed to shed any information regarding the bikes.
The three nabbed were identified as Aman Khan(19) of Nariyalkheda, Adil alias Fardeen Ali(18) of Gautam Nagar and Salman Khan(20) of Ginnori.
In the investigation, the accused confessed that they were active in stealing vehicles and have stolen vehicles from different parts of Bhopal.
The police nabbed two youths with bike bearing registration number MP04NF9443 and when they were quizzed, Fardeen revealed that he had stolen a bike from TT Nagar which is kept at his house. He had changed the registration number plate and was using the bike.
Another accused was nabbed who was identified as Salman and was having bike bearing registration number and when he was asked to provide the details of the bike he failed to do so.
