Misrod police have busted a gang of burglars and nabbed three minor boys while the two accused including a woman remained absconding; police have recovered Rs 30,000 cash from their possession.
On June 26, the victim Sanjay Singh Chouhan lodged complaint regarding stealing of bag carrying gift envelopes from marriage function at Celestial Park hotel.
During the marriage function of her niece at Celestial Park hotel at Hoshangabad road a boy around 9-10 years old was spotted leaving the marriage venue with bag carrying gift envelops and the same boy was spotted earlier with two other boys.
A case under section 379 of the IPC was registered and in the investigation and CCTV footages were circulated across all the districts and it was found that the kind of crimes are frequent in Rajgarh and Guna districts and people from Sansi and Kanjar community is involved in such crimes.
A team was formed during the investigation and Guna and Rajgarh police and Nagar Suraksha Samiti members were shown the footages after which the three minor accused were identified and were nabbed from Guna.
The three confessed to the crime. The three were in the age group of 10 years, 15 years and 17 years while two accused are absconding.
The two accused including a woman have been identified as Shaitan Bai and Sanjay went absconding and search has been started for the two. Police have Rs 15000 each from 15-year-old and 17-year-old accused while the remaining money is with Shaitan Bai and Sanjay.
