The students are enhancing their skills in cultural as well as technical fields in a three-day event ‘Technical Fizz’. The programme organised by Oriental College of Technology(OCT), began here from Wednesday and would continue till February 7.
The students are enjoying a blend of technical events as well as cultural events altogether. Notably, the programme is divided into various sections that include, Technical Fest, Cultural Events, Art Villa, Tech 4 Fun and even the Sports events are also organised at the Oriental College premises.
On the opening day of the fest, Rock Band Competition and Singing Competition were held that was much enjoyed by the students and the faculty members. As many as 15 rock bands from Bhopal and Indore in total participated and played the music which made the audience tap their feet although the programme. Further, students also performed solo songs that also received a great appreciation.
Notably, this tech fest aim towards new innovations in the field of science in order to boost up the technical knowledge and to discover new
talents in the field of culture as well.
The grand event is targeted to attract all the students from different colleges of
the city. Many students from other colleges have registered for the fest. The main plan comprises of more than 40 events that include coding, robotics, cad competition, C Mania, assemble dissemble, circuit designing and dubbing and many other new applications of science such as Android App Challenge would be organised.
Apart from technical events, fun events would also be a part of the event in order to refresh the participating youth. Guest lectures by eminent personalities will be held in order to enlighten and motivate the young minds. Exhibitions and paper presentations are also invited.
The Art Villa includes artistic events like Rangoli, Face Painting, Collage Making, and Click-o-mania, followed with the sports event that includes indoor and outdoor games.
This event is like an extravagance for the students as they would take the pleasure of various events at one place.
