The Special Judge, CBI(Vyapam Cases), Bhopal has sentenced three candidates, namely Puran Singh, Lankesh Sharma & Satish Argal to undergo seven years Rigorous Imprisonment in a case related to MPCRT-2013 Examination conducted by Vyapam.
CBI had registered the instant case on Aug 17, 2015 in compliance to the orders dated 09.07.2015 of Supreme Court of India and took over the investigation of FIR No.09/15 dated May 16, 2015, earlier registered at Police Station STF, Bhopal. It was alleged that the accused cleared the MPCRT-2013 Examination using illegal means through impersonation.
After investigation, CBI filed a chargesheet against four accused before the Court of 9th Addl. Sessions Judge, Bhopal on March 12, 2019.
