Chunabhatti police have booked three persons including a woman for human trafficking, girl was held captive and sexually assaulted by the father-son duo at Hansalpura near Dewas after she was sold at Rs 1 lakh to them by the accused woman.
A case of human trafficking has come to light in Chunabhatti area. Her friend's mother-in-law sold the girl to father and son for Rs 1 lakh. Both raped her. The victim told the police that both the accused kept her hostage in the house. Both used to fight with her everyday she escaped and reached her home in Bhopal on Rang Panchami.
After this the police were informed about the incident. The police have registered a case against the father-son, mother-in-law of her friend. The accused have not been arrested yet.
Chunabhatti police station in-charge Nitin Sharma said that the girl living in Kolar slum had mysteriously gone missing on July 15, 2021. His relatives had registered his missing.
The father said that the daughter is retarded. Police and relatives searched, but could not find her. After about a year and a half, on the day of Rang Panchami, she suddenly reached her aunt's house living in Chunabhatti.
She told the police that on July 15, 2021, she had gone to visit Lakshmi's house where her friend Muskaan's mother-in-law Lakshmi gave her sedated water. After this she became unconscious and when she regained consciousness, she was in Hansalpur near Dewas. There were two men in the house Harisingh and Inder Singh.
Inder was Hairsh's father and the two sexually assaulted her. Initially she was not allowed to leave the house and when she protested, father and son used to beat her. The accused sexually exploited her for about one and a half years. Later Inder forcibly married her.
Lakshmi goes to Indore and Dewas to work as a labourer. During this, he got acquainted with Inder's mother. Inder's mother tells him that he is not getting married and provide a girl if available and for this she will spend Rs 1.5 lakh. Lakshmi sedated the water and took the victim to Inder's house and sold her.
