Under Saubhagya scheme in Narsinghpur 31500 families, in Katni 29500 families and in Seoni 33515 families were provided with electricity connections.
MP East Power Distribution Company limited (MPEPDCl) has worked to complete the targets in Jabalpur, Mandla and Sagar districts and soon every house hold in these districts would be having electricity connections under the Saubhagya scheme.
Three districts Katni, Narsinghpur and Seoni were surveyed where 94515 families were found without electricity connections.
In the rural areas 90769 families while 3746 families in urban areas were found.
The scheme aims to supply electricity to the remotest and difficult places.
