Sub-Inspector Sanjeev Dhakad revealed that Lodhi had been arrested in connection with the theft of 400 grams of silver in the Kohefiza area. After his initial arrest, he was taken to JP Hospital for a routine medical checkup, where he escaped custody. A case of escape was subsequently registered at Habibganj police station.
