Maharshi Vidya Mandir schoolteacher, who has leveled allegations of sexual harassment and blackmailing against the Secretary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Educational Institute Girsih Verma, on Friday came out with fresh allegations that she has been threatened for life and acid attack if she fails to withdraw her complaint against Verma.
With such allegations, the schoolteacher has filed a complaint with the Mahila police station. The victim has alleged that the Verma is using all means to restrain her from complaining against him.
Fearing any harm to her and her family, she has lodged a complaint with the Mahila police.
The victim stated that on Saturday she had received a call from mobile number 9301768174 and the miscreant introduced himself as Zuber Ahmed. The victim alleged that the caller threatened her and family for life and warned if she is not going to withdraw complaints, she would face acid attack.
When the Mahila police station was contacted, Station House Officer Sonali Suna has confirmed that she has received a complaint but expressed ignorance on the date, time and content of the complaint. No case has been registered and the investigation in the matter is on.
She confirmed that City Superintendent of Police Jehangirabad Saleem Khan is investigating the case and would be the right person to provide more information about the case.
However, when Khan was contacted he told that he is not aware of the complaint and will look into the matter.
