The workshop has it all, from the basics of theatres to the production of the play. It includes theory, practical and application in acting skills.  There are different elements which play a vital role in theatre world on of which is stage craft, he added.

Stage craft is very important as half of the act becomes understood through the kind of set is being put up.

Notably, workshop is being conducted by a noted theatre artiste of the city Javed Zaidi. While talking about the workshop, Zaidi says, “All kinds of theatre forms are being taught to the students to get acquainted with theatre art. Moreover, theatre is a collaborative form of fine art that uses live performances of may be real or imagined events on stage before the audiences. Here the performers have to communicate these events through combination of gestures, speech, song, music and dance.”

He further says that the students are being trained to improvise the sense of acting, gestures, expressions and emotions. This training programme   further aims to free students from self consciousness and strengthen their concentration through sensory exercises.
