To learn about theatres and brush their theatrical skills, the youngsters are trying hard to get acquainted with this art more perfectly. An acting workshop is being organised for the youngsters who want to create a niche for themselves in theatre industry or to learn the skills of stage performance or to even brush up their theatrical skills.
The acting workshop is being organised by Kirti Ballet and Theatre Group, Bhopal. Moreover, the workshop is being conducted at Utkal Bhavan that began here from Tuesday. Notably, the participants are being taught the basic acting exercises to strengthen their acting foundation. This training programme would further train the students to free them from self consciousness and strengthen their concentration through sensory exercises. The participants are given assignments to apply in their theatrical personality and performances.
Further, these days the youngsters are getting more influenced by the theatrical activities and to make a career in acting, they have to learn the basics of acting which are being taught in this workshop.
How to use the props and properties, speech therapy, improvisation of stories, body movements, facial expression with dialogue, footwork on music along with other experimental exercises are being taught by noted theatre personalities of the city. The workshop primarily focuses on acting techniques, body language, observational skills, voice modulation, diction and speech. This will provide a unique knowledge practice based techniques, which is very important to acquire in this career.
The workshop will continue till January 10.
