The youngsters of the city are enhancing their theatrical skills as they are trained by the eminent theatre artists of the city. A theatre workshop is being organised for the youngsters aspiring to enter the theatres that began from Monday.
The workshop is being organised by a well known theatre group of the city Trikarshi Theatre Group. During the month long theatre workshop, theatre personalities the city will train the students. Founder director of Trikarshi Theatre Group, KG Trivedi will train the aspirants. The theatre workshop is being held at Tulsi Nagar from 4 to 8 pm.
Students are being taught the basic acting exercises to strengthen their acting foundation. All through the training programme, the students would further be trained to free them from self consciousness and strengthen their concentration through sensory exercises. Students will be given assignments to apply in their theatrical personality and performances.
How to use the props and properties, speech therapy, improvisation of stories, body movements, facial expression with dialogue, and footwork on music along with other experimental exercises will be taught to them by the theater personalities.
The workshop majorly focuses on Acting techniques, Body language, Observational kills, Voice Modulation, Diction and Speech. This will provide a unique knowledge practice based techniques, which is very important to acquire in this career. All kind of genres like tragedy, comedy, drama and horror would be taught.
Mostly, school students are a part of the theatre workshop. They are learning to hone their theatrical skills.
