Under the weekly film screenings at Bharat Bhavan, a Hollywood movie ‘The Space Jockey Pursuit’ was screened here on Sunday at Abhirang Auditorium, Bharat Bhavan. The film evoked a great response as most of the youngsters of the city were noticed at the screening.

The Space Jockey Pursuit is written by Matthew Titshaw and directed by his brother Brian Titshaw. The film is about Tom Bernstein, a recent college graduate pass-out who declines a lucrative job in his father’s automotive corporation, and instead springs his estranged brother, Alvin, from a mental hospital and drives him to a major Hollywood audition in the stolen prototype of his father’s new solar-powered car.

The day after his college graduation, Tom Bernstein is packing his bags and preparing to take over the family automotive business. Tom’s father is sending him to Japan where hell oversees their new Solar Car factory. But Tom is having second thoughts about the move. He wants something different with his life and while he’s not sure what he wants, he hopes to figure it out by helping Alvin realise his dream. Along their journey, the brothers help out a former child star turned folk singer named Cecilia and an aspiring stunt man named Ernesto.

Noticeably, the producer of the film, Anshul Jain has eventually become a part of the Hollywood. After doing masters in fine arts and then jumping into film making, Anshul moved to Mumbai and became assistant art director in daily soaps like CID and Aahat. This was one of the awaited movies of Hollywood that received a great response at Bhopal as well. The film screening was much enjoyed by the movie watchers of the city.
