The film screening of ‘The Coffin Maker’ along with the interaction of its director Veena Bakshi was held at Dylogg Co-working here on Sunday.
The Coffin Maker is a national awarded film of year 2013 and is considered as one of the best performances by Naseeruddin Shah. The movie is directed by Veena Bakshi and stars, Naseeruddin Shah, Randeep Hooda and Ratna Pathak Shah in the pivotal roles.
The movie is about a carpenter Anton Gomes played by Shah. Anton Gomes is fallen into a deep trouble when he goes shorten of work. Feeling helpless and saddened Anton takes up the work of a coffin maker only to discover that a series of twists are awaiting to enter his life.
One day death comes knocking in the form of an impeccably black-suited Randeep Hooda, who gives Shah a month to live a life he had forgotten to. Shah's Anton Gomes takes this as a challenge, perks up and even takes his wife of long years, Isabella played to perfection by Shah's real wife, Ratna Shah Pathak on a dinner date. This follows a series of adventures.
She shared her idea of making this movie and also her experiences working with Shah. The entire event was a delightful experience for the Bhopalites.
