Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that this is a budget to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolution of self-reliant India. It is going to pave the way for building a glorious, prosperous and powerful India. This budget is all-pervasive and all-encompassing. Expressing his reaction on the Union Budget, Chouhan said this to the media persons in Mantralaya.
While thanking Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of the state, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the arrangement for the welfare of every section of the society and every state of the country is contained in the budget.
This is a budget for poor welfare, upliftment of farmers, taking forward mothers, sisters and daughters. This is a budget to empower the middle class. Income up to Rs 7 lakh has been made tax free. This is the budget for the welfare of the weaker sections and the youth. Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the all-encompassing and comprehensive budget.
