Sensation prevailed at Bhopal railway station after call of planting a bomb was received in the afternoon on Wednesday.
Immediately after receiving the information by woman helpline Dial 100 helpline was informed. Soon after the information was received teams of GRP, RFP, Bomb Disposal Squad, Sniffer Dogs swung into action but failed to find anything suspicious at the Bhopal railway station.
The search was conducted till 5 pm and later the vigil was intensified to check any untoward movement and incident at the railway station.
SP Bhopal(Railway) Anita Yadav said that intensive search was conducted in an joint effort by the security agencies but nothing suspicious was found in the search and call was found to be hoax. The caller was traced and search for the accused has been intensified.
She said SP Hoshangabad has declared a reward of Rs 5000 for providing the details of the absconding accused involved in creating ruckus by hoax call. The details of the accused would be shared in the further investigation.
The accused said that two persons have left from Hoshangabad to Bhopal and planted the bomb at Bhopal railway station. The accused called woman helpline which immediately informed Dial -100 and security agencies were alerted.
SHO GRP Bhopal Hemant Shrivastava said that at around 12.30 pm alert was raised after the information was received.
luggage of passengers at the station was thoroughly checked and later vigil at the Bhopal railway station was strengthened.
Based on the mobile number of the caller used to call, search was started and later the caller was tracked in Chhindwara.
