A 13-year-old girl who used to work as domestic help committed suicide at B Sector in Indrapuri under Piplani police station area on Tuesday; she committed suicide while at work.
Police said that the deceased Nisha Makoria was found hanging and was rushed to Kasturba hospital where she was declared dead.
Police have recovered a suicide note in which the deceased had not mentioned the reason behind her suicide.
Investigating Officer ASI Shobran Singh said that the deceased had gone for work and while working she locked the door from inside and committed suicide. At the time of the incident deceased’s mother was working on the first floor while the deceased was working at the second floor.
Deceased’s mother told the police that the deceased was not having any kind of problem; she did not have with family member and was not scolded, he added.
The deceased left studies after class V and used to assist her mother who works as domestic help.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
Meanwhile an 8- year- old who fell from terrace of Ghora Nakkas under Hanumanganj police station area on Monday, died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday. According to the police the deceased Kavya alias Keshav fell from terrace of his house while playing in the evening on Monday and was rushed to Chirayu hospital where he died during treatment on Tuesday. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the ICP and have started further investigation.
