For energy conservation and effective utilisation of lubes, IOCl organised technical presentation in BHEl, Bhopal the other day. Participants of this presentation included persons from Maintenance, Engineering, Gas and Power plant, Material management, Finance, etc.
In this seminar HK Nigam (GM-MM), CP Jaiswal (AGM-Stores) and P Panda (AGM-FSX) were present and actively participated. In his inaugural address, Subrata Panda, In-charge of Institutional Sales in MP and CG informed the urgent need of Energy conservation and its effect on the Indian economy. He informed the role of IOCl in this mission and various measures taken by IOCl for Energy conservation.
Technical presentation was given by SK Biswas, Senior Manager (Technical Services). In his technical presentation, Biswas briefed about the growth of IOCl from strength to strength.
He elaborated in detail about different types of lubes, their usage and ways to prevent wastages and the potential savings. There were intense discussions on various issues related to maintenance. All participants participated actively.
