Understanding children’s psychology and reacting according to it, is the most essential step that should be taken by the teachers. This thought was expressed by children psychologists and experts in a Teachers’ Training Programme held here on Thursday at play Station School, Jehangirabad.
Organised by Play Station Academic Heights School, the workshop was especially for the play group teachers as they have to deal with the children of a very tender age. The workshop cum orientation programme basically focused on the topics that dealt with the overall development of the child and how a teacher plays an important role in developing the personality.
During the workshop, a special session on child psychology, effecting teaching skills, Personality Development and soft skills were taken by the experts.
Director of the school Aamir Mehboob informed that the main objective of the programme was to benefit teachers for better performance in their area of specialization and taking up the effective teaching aids for the overall development of the children. Further during the workshop, the experts explained about stress and anger management and how to deal with the panicking situations.
Moreover, the experts also emphasized over understanding child psychology and working accordingly. The experts advised that it is important for teachers to practice anger control and stress management.
An open question answer session was also there when teachers and all participants had an opportunity to clear their doubts and queries. Teachers from various schools participated in the workshop and enhanced their already existing teaching skills.
