A 55-year-old Government Teacher committed suicide by jumping in front of speeding train at Bawadia railway crossing late in the night on Tuesday; reason of suicide remained unknown and would be investigated. The deceased identified as Praveen Sharma was found in an injured state and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Patrolling policemen were informed and an ambulance was called after Praveen was found screaming in pain as he lost legs after he was hit by speeding train. He was taken to Narmada hospital where he died during treatment. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The deceased was a teacher with Government school in Mandideep and left house on Tuesday and later found in injured state at around 12 in the night. In the initial investigation police have found that the deceased used to remain depressed for the past few days.
