Talent not special to any caste or section: Governor

Addressing students taking part in leadership development camp, Governor Ram Naresh Yadav said here on Monday at Raj Bhavan that there is no dearth of young talents in our State and country. From point of youth population our country is on top in the world and State tops the country. He said that unless right guidance and opportunities are provided to students of every section of society, we cannot ensure development at a rapid pace. With this in view, a week-long leadership development camp is held every year for SC, ST students.

Yadav said that talent is not special to any caste for section. Continuous march ahead is the key to development. SC, ST students’ skills are no less than others in any field. But they remain deprived of success they deserve since they are not more vocal due to their traditional innocence and hesitation. Yadav said that expectations can be fulfilled only when students become so capable and empowered to put forth their views candidly before any officer and make him agree with their opinion.

Governor Yadav presented gifts to all participants of the camp. He gave away Rs. 500 prize to student Nem Singh from Anuppur district for best speech. Principal Secretary to Governor Vinod Semwal, Principal Secretary Tribal Welfare PC Meena, Principal Secretary Scheduled Caste Welfare Ashok Shah, Commissioner Scheduled Caste Development JN Malpani, Commissioner Tribal Welfare Umakant Umrao and officers of concerning departments and Raj Bhavan were present on the occasion.
