The children of Bhopal city are learning the basics of theatrical presentation in a children’s theatre workshop. The workshop 'Swapnayaan' is all about fun and theatre.
Several children of the city aspiring for theatre activities are being trained at their best skills by noted theatre personalities at Aurobindo School. A month long theatre workshop is being organized for the aspiring students by Vihaan theatre Group.
Through the speech exercise and voice modulation the participants are learning different forms of theatre.
Moreover the kids are being taught basic acting exercises to strengthen their acting foundation.
This theatre workshop further is training the students to free them from self consciousness and strengthen their concentration through sensory exercises.
Under the same segment, students were given assignments to apply in their theatrical personality and performances.
Further speech therapy, improvisation of stories, body movements, facial expression with dialogue, footwork on music along with other experimental exercises are also being taught in the workshop. Most importantly, the basics of folk art are taught through the play way method so that the students can enjoy the workshop.
