Minister for Higher Education Jeetu Patwari conducted surprise inspection of Nutan College situated in Shivaji Nagar of Bhopal. He interacted with women professors and discussed about their experiences and difficulties being faced by them in teaching.
Patwari gave instructions to the Commissioner Higher Education, Ajit Kumar to issue an order in connection to cancel deputation with immediate effect. Along with this, he told to ensure 80 per cent attendance of students necessarily.
Patwari said that an important decision will be taken shortly after the discussion with the Chief Minister to make free transport arrangement for girls along with free education. Patwari mentioned that there are approximately 15 districts in rural areas, where girls face difficulty in pursuing studies due to absence of teachers. He instructed that time bound presence in college is must now. Stringent action will be taken in future if it’s repeated again.
