As many as 265 employees including medical director Dr. Prerna Upadhyaya and 12 eye surgeons of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital have been vaccinated on Wednesday. These include 140 male and 125 female employees. At present, there are 13 Ophthalmic surgeons in Sewa Sadan eye hospital.
It is learnt that 250-300 eye patients everyday come to the hospital with their attenders. Hospital management always take care to follow covid-19 protocols like maintaining personal and social distancing, washing hands, wearing masks and checkup of temperature by non contact thermo-meter. Despite of following all precautions, the hospital management was always in stressed to save its staff and patients.
Looking to this CMHO Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari was requested to administer the vaccine to hospital staff. Dr. Tiwari sympathetically responded and arranged to vaccinate the staff. Dr. G.S. Argal Superintendent of Govt. Civil Hospital, Sant Hirdaram Nagar have also co-operated. Managing Trustee L.C. Janiyani expressed gratitude to The State Government, Dr. Tiwari and Dr. Argal for their commendable contribution.
