Adult movie star-turned Bollywood actress Sunny leone on Thursday said she would like to essay the character of former prime minister late Indira Gandhi if provided a chance.

"If I had to play the role of a woman political leader, Indira Gandhi would be a great character as to what was going in her mind," said leone while replying to media queries. In her bid to re-build her image suited to Indian sensibilities, leone asserted more than once that she was not the person as she was viewed to be.

"I am not what you think I am. I am a completely different person. I am a good wife, somebody's sister. I work very hard," said leone, who was here to promote her coming film 'Ragini MMS 2' that is scheduled to be released on Friday.

Describing herself as a very down to earth person in real life, the starlet said she had a strong fan following because of this attitude.Speaking about her ideal in Bollywood, she said she eulogised Ekta Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

"When I am at home in los Angeles, Priyanka Chopra is on the magazine. She is on the billboard. I feel proud that an Indian woman has infiltrated a completely different world. Ekta Kapoor is young and successful. I also admire Katrina Kaif," leone said. She denied that she had any regrets about her past as an adult movie star as she had reached this stage in her life because of it.

She explained that she regarded each day as a stepping stone in her life.leone said she had no preference for her future roles and her priority was to get work. Similarly, she would accept any suitable assignment on the small screen.

Replying to a query about Salman Khan leaving reality show Big Boss from which she made her debut on the small screen, she said the host has to be played by someone with a big personality like Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan.
