Principal Secretary Industries Mohammad Sulaiman reviewed preparations for Global Investors Summit 2014 to be held on October 8, 9 and 10 at Brilliant Convention Centre at Indore on Monday. Sulaiman expressed satisfaction over preparations and directed to complete them by the afternoon of October 7 Sulaiman directed to provide necessary facilities to all industrialists coming to the summit including their entry into the venue, seating, food arrangements etc as well as all necessary information. Representatives of industrialists should be e-mailed about where they have to take entry from and what are seating arrangements.
Sulaiman said that signboards should be installed in the city indicating towards Convention Centre. Sulaiman also inspected Convention Centre and ongoing works there. He inspected media lounge coming up at the centre and directed to complete all arrangements before October 7. He directed to provide laptop, desktop, photocopier, scanner and high-speed broadband connection to media.
The officials present on the occasion informed the Principal Secretary that the preparations are going on at war footings. In the given time frame, everything would be completed, they added.
Sulaiman informed that a press conference will be held at the grand hall of Brilliant Convention Centre everyday after summit’s programme. Madhya Pradesh Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation limited (TRIFAC) MD DP Ahuja, Commissioner Sanjay Dube, IG Vipin Maheshwari, Collector Akash Tripathi, DIG Rakesh Gupta, Director Public Relations lajpat Ahuja, Madhyam’s Executive Director Suresh Tiwari and officers of concerning departments were present on the occasion.
