The three day event that began from Tuesday captivated a huge crowd at Gauhar Mahal. Featuring the best Qawwals of the country the event managed to capture the hearts of Bhopalites.
Even here on Wednesday, a huge crowd could be noticed at the venue enjoying the Qawwalis till late night. The melodies, innocence and purity of Qawwalis are much welcomed by the Bhopalites.
On the second day of the event three Qawwals back to back gave splendid performances. The event began with the Qawwalis by Mehboob Mohsin from Sehore. He began with the hymn at the event. later he performed some of the compositions by Urdu poets and old nazms that were much enjoyed by the Bhopalites.
Organized by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, the three day Qawwali concert is also captivating the attention of non-music lovers too. Moreover as the historical shopping hub is embedded with the Khadi Utsav 2015, the shopaholics are taking the pleasure of shopping along with the delightful performances.
later, Bhurre Qawwal gave a mesmerizing performance. He performed some of his original compositions. He also performed the traditional compositions that left the audience totally enthralled. With these performances the audiences were so pleased that they even appreciated the Qawwals by giving them some token of appreciation.
Even the Qawwals enjoyed much while performing live before such enthusiastic and energetic audience.
later, the performance by Haleem Taj who hails from Jabalpur was like the icing on the cake. His performance made everyone tap their feet over the rhythm of Qawwali.
It was a spell binding experience for the art and music lovers of the city.
