RTOs and DTOs will face the action against them, if they do not check the school and college buses sincerely. Transport commissioner has asked them to get reports from all schools and colleges of the district who are facing charges under the Transport Act.

The RTOs and DTOs of respective districts are held responsible for the slow progress of work and transport commissioner has clearly instructed them to go for strict checking of school and college buses instead of sitting in the office.

Besides, the RTOs and DTOs have to check the proper implementation of Supreme Court guidelines as it has to be followed anyhow. Those buses, which are not obeying the instructions and guidelines, should be seized and stern action should be taken against them.

According to the official sources, it has been observed by transport commissioner that in some districts RTOs and DTOs are not interested in checking the school and college buses.

So in school many unfit buses are running and also they are not following the Supreme Court guidelines. Due to this Transport Commissioner has cautioned the RTOs and DTOs that there negligence attitude will not be tolerated by him.

He further said that unfit buses might cause any accident and due to this innocent students would be in trouble. In keeping view of safety measures for students of school and colleges we should be sincere in our duties.

Also Transport commissioner said that when we start the checking of buses then we should keep the packets of toffees for students. When we start checking the papers by that time students will eat toffees. For each bus Rs 50 per packet can be purchased.
