Subhash School shines as MPBSE declares Board results

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the Class 10 and 12 examination results on Tuesday. While state-level results showed improvement, Bhopal’s district ranking triggered concern.

In Class 10, the overall pass percentage rose to 76.22%, a notable increase from last year’s 58.10%. Class 12 results also improved, with 74.48% of students passing, compared to 64.49% in the previous academic session.

Despite the state’s upward trend, Bhopal ranked only 28th among all districts. The result is surprising given the city's educational resources and longstanding reputation as an academic hub in central India.

Even so, individual students from Bhopal achieved notable success. Ashwini Kevat of Elite Senior Secondary School and Mahak Bathre of Subhash Excellence School both secured 494 out of 500 marks, earning joint 7th rank in the state.

Ishika Kapoor of Subhash Excellence School followed with 491 marks, securing the 10th position. Sonam Yadav and Lavkesh Barpete, also from Subhash, scored 493 and 492 respectively, placing them 8th and 9th in the state merit list.

Subhash Excellence School emerged as a standout institution. Its students took four of the top ten Class 10 positions, and two students ranked 4th in Class 12 Commerce—making it Bhopal’s most successful school across both boards this year.

In Class 12, Eva Jain from Daffodils School secured 3rd position statewide in the Biology stream. Meanwhile, Subhash Excellence’s Pranjal Kushwaha and Nishhu Pandit tied for 4th in the Commerce stream and topped Bhopal’s list.

District Collector Kaushalendra Singh congratulated the achievers and urged others not to lose hope. “This is not the conclusion of your journey. Keep persevering, and next year, you will attain even greater success,” he said. The overall Class 12 result in the state stood at 74.88%. 71.37% of boys and 77.55% of girls were declared successful.
